Three Men in the Valleys

Long ago, among the people of Bani Isra’il, there were three men living in nearby valleys. The first man had leprosy, a serious skin disease. His skin was badly affected, and people avoided him. The second man was bald. He had no hair, and people treated him unkindly because of it. The third man was blind. He could not see the sky, the hills, the faces of people, or the path beneath his feet. Each man was poor. Each man carried sadness in his heart. And each one wished for a different life. Nearby, young your child sometimes passed through the valleys with his family. He saw the three men from a distance and felt sad for them.
